Giving Tuesday!

Native Health Initiative would like to introduce our newest program, Másaní’s Massage. Másaní means maternal grandmother in the Dine (Navajo) language. Másaní’s Massage was originally started in 2019 as a heartfelt initiative by our Program Leader, Shannon Clark-Holiday, to provide free chair massages to the elderly at senior centers located on pueblos and reservations. This wonderful program is now under the Indigenizing Wellness focus area of NHI.

Southwest Healing Massage has supported and donated to Másaní’s Massage since 2019. Shannon, founder of Southwest Healing Massage wanted to give back to the Native American communities. Who more in our communities deserves a massage, our elders. We do need your support to reach these rural communities. Thank you for giving back.
