I am a Trauma Informed Care (TIC) private practice, mental health counselor. I never ask "what's wrong with you?", rather, "what happened to you?"
Mental health lies on a continuum, and we all have struggles from time to time. Sometimes those struggles can interfere with daily life. We offer cutting edge therapies that get to the root of the problem. Mental health therapy is not for the faint of heart. Sometimes it’s hard to believe I’ve been in the mental health field for almost 30 years now. I’m still just as excited now as when I was a fresh out of school! What a blessing to love what I do and keep learning more everyday.

My latest passion has been learning and teaching Coherent Body. It’s basically learning how to stand, sit, walk, breath, so the whole body is a moving EMDR processing system. It’s amazing to see how quickly things start to shift. And in the long haul, it seems to churn out the dysfunctional attachment issues towards a more secure earned attachment. That’s just by body movements alone. This is cutting edge in mental health!

If you don’t care for too much talking about your traumas in therapy, but want deep change that lasts, try a couple of days and see for yourself!

If you or someone you know, might benefit from this somatic beginners group starting Friday, September 5th at 9am central…but have financial hardship that keeps them from attending, please dm me and I can help solve some of that using insurance and other resources. Cost is $20 per session and this is an open group that can be attended fully or partially. I will also have sessions recorded for those who can’t attend.
