It's been a physically challenging year with a number of health issues, so lifting 90% of last year's effort at the WI Masters Games was a major win. :) 325 lbs

Personal training client, Amanda, and I with our 2025 Wisconsin Masters Games medals -- Amanda gold in the 45-49 age group for bench press and deadlift, me for gold in the 60-64 deadlift.

Gluten Free No Added Sugar Banana Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookies :)
A healthy alternative to granola bars, etc.
The only sugars are in the bananas and the chocolate chips.
(Adding sea salt to the dough brings out the chocolate flavor.)
Mildly sweet with a mellow yummy hearty flavor packed with nutrition.
And yes, I just made up the recipe! :)
Mix
*2 large bananas
*3 eggs
*1/4 cup canola oil
Add and mix
*2 cups oatmeal
*3/4 cup buckwheat flour
*3/4 cup oat flour
*1 Tsp baking soda
Add and mix
*1 cup walnut pieces
*1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
*several sprinkles of sea salt
Place on parchment paper on cookie sheet.
Bake 18-20 minutes at 325 degrees
Makes 18 large cookies
Approximately 3 g protein and 190 calories per cookie
