Oakley at Bridlepath Equine Center really enjoys his monthly massages! 😍😍

One of the biggest and most effective tools that we've seen benefit the physical and mental health of our program horses has been equine massage therapy, in addition to regular vet and farrier care!

For all of the horses, they are constantly giving releases such as licking & chewing, yawning, relaxing a hip, stretching (as Oakley is demonstrating), etc. during these massages with the wonderful Kimmy from Flying K Equine Massage Therapy .

Folks are often surprised to hear we do regular massages for our guys; however, we have seen impressive improvements in their behaviors and overall demeanors during participant sessions that allow for more well-rounded, high quality services for the incredible individuals we have the honor of serving each week.

NO, your mind isn’t playing tricks on you… YES, this is a Brown Swiss heifer! 🐮

Today we switched things up and instead of massaging equines, we massaged bovines!!

This little lady is Easy 🤎 She is less than a year old, gives the best kisses and is about to head to the state fair to compete! We wanted to make sure she feels in tip top shape and does her best at the fair. Last year we massaged her herd mate Puddles and she went off to win first place! 🥇 Wishing Easy and her owner Carolyn the best of luck this coming week!

💥 We have exciting news here at Flying K! 💥

I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Therasage EMC Modality Workshop in Randleman NC this week!

Flying K was able to expand our knowledge on TENS and Cold Laser Therapy (which are two services we already offer!) and also learn about KT Taping, Cupping, Red Light Therapy, PEMF, IASTM Therapy and more! It was an amazing experience that was packed full of great information and so fun getting to know other practitioners.🐴 I even got to hang out with Mane To Tail Equine Sports Massage, LLC 😍

Flying K is so excited to be able to offer these services to our clients!! Keep an eye out for more info to come!! 🐴
