Good Friday invites us into a deeper kind of reflection—not only on what Jesus endured, but on what we carry within ourselves. From a counseling perspective, the cross reminds us that pain, grief, betrayal, and suffering are not ignored or minimized by God—they are acknowledged, held, and ultimately redeemed. Jesus experienced the full weight of human emotion and brokenness, which means there is nothing we face that is unfamiliar to Him.

At Speak Life Consulting, we recognize that healing begins when we allow ourselves to be honest about our wounds. The beauty of Good Friday is that it gives us permission to sit in the tension—acknowledging the pain while holding onto hope. Because of the cross, suffering is not the end of the story. There is purpose, there is healing, and there is resurrection. Today, we encourage you to gently reflect, give yourself grace, and remember—you are not alone in your journey.
