Well, Sun Pharmacy had planned to have a lighted tractor in Saturday's parade (a vintage Minneapolis Moline, no less) with staffer and 4Her Danika driving, but there's something wrong with the brakes that can't be fixed before Saturday. So in the interest of safety, we'll postpone our entry until next year. But best wishes to the dozens of tractors and their drivers who'll be lighting up Rising Sun Saturday night!

It's that time of the year! Rising Sun's Community Carol Sing, a tradition for decades, is Tuesday December 2, 2025 at 7pm. Because of impending inclement weather, we'll be caroling indoors at the Janes Church sanctuary this year. Join us for old-fashioned fun, corny jokes, perhaps a certain special holiday visitor and the real message of Christmas. See you Tuesday night at Janes Church (213 N. Walnut St.)!
