So you've got a couple dozen hardboiled eggs, but you forgot to buy the Easter egg dye? Here's an old school recipe old timers used way back when. All you need is 1/2 cup boiling water with a tablespoonful of white vinegar. Add a couple of drops of food coloring--you know, those little bottles that came with the kitchen when you moved in? Dunk the eggs until they're the desired shade and you're all set. And take notes of where you hide them--you don't want to forget one only to be reminded of its hiding place when it starts getting odiferous around Mother's Day! Happy Easter to all.
