So the treasury isn't making any NEW pennies, but there's still a bazillion of them in your homes in mason jars and coffee cans and under the couch. They're still real money and some of us (Sun Pharmacy, for instance) are still using them. So why not put the kids to work putting them in wrappers and selling them to retailers that are still making real change? Stop by Sun Pharmacy and we'll give you some penny wrappers. Don't want to bother with wrapping them yourself? We'll weigh your loose pennies on our package scale, buy them from you and wrap 'em ourselves. It's a great way to celebrate Lincoln's birthday (February 12, in case you've forgotten.)
