Before your car could drive itself, tractors already were.
Farmers have been using GPS-guided, self-steering equipment for decades to improve efficiency and precision in the field.

A combine is made up of nearly 20,000 individual parts. That means thousands of components that can wear, break, or need attention before harvest ever starts.

So farmers spend long hours in the shop. Combines, headers, trucks. If it moves, they’re working on it. Because when harvest hits, there’s no time for downtime.

Washington wheat farmers deliver year after year and in 2025, we averaged 68 bushels per acre at $5.05 per bushel across the entire state!

It's National Grilled Cheese day and with that perfect pairing, tomato soup is the classic, yet Ketchup… controversial.

Wheat isn’t a set-it-and-forget-it crop.
There’s no such thing as planting and walking away. Farmers are in the field every day, checking for weeds, watching for pests, and tracking how the crop is progressing. Making decisions in real time.
It’s a constant balance of experience, instinct, and science.

Water is one of the most limited resources our farmers have. In parts of eastern Washington, fields receive just 6 to 20 inches of moisture each year.

Weeds compete for that same water, pulling away what wheat needs to grow, develop, and produce.

That’s why crop protection, whether mechanical or chemical, is critical. It allows farmers to protect every drop, every acre, and ultimately produce the high-quality wheat the world depends on.
