This lovely patient had an Upper Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty), and what I love about her outcome is that her eyes look natural, and she has a nice even lid platform where she can apply makeup if she would like to. If you’re just looking at her eyelids, I would say the result is Subtle, but Dramatic!

The extra heavy skin and fullness is minimized, but she does not look like she had surgery.

She looks amazing, I love it and I’m so happy for her!

People often ask me, “What’s the Best Season for Eyelid Surgery”?

We actually operate almost every day! Rather than cram a lot of cases into one day a week and be rushed and stressed, we are able to do Blephs and Ptosis surgery in the office in a very relaxed and comfortable manner. And we do it year-round—so the best time isn’t about the season; it’s about your schedule.
Now, some things that might affect that include work, travel, big events like a wedding, holidays or family obligations. Planning ahead makes the process smoother and less stressful.
- Winter is nice, because everyone is hibernating, so no one will see you!
- Spring is great, because you’ll look great for summer!
- You can be in the sun, just wear sun glasses.
- And Fall is another good time to get laser resurfacing at the same time.

This is a young woman had Ptosis that was making her look tired. I am so ecstatic about her results after a Blepharoplasty and Ptosis Repair (lid lift). She looks awake, healthy, and most importantly, completely natural. Helping young patients with ptosis is one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. The demands for precision might be higher, but I’m up for the challenge and find that pushes me to perfect my craft for all my patients.

🤑 Cost: $5,000-$12,000 for upper lids (when ptosis surgery is needed), We accept PatientFi and Care Credit Financing.⁠
😜 Downtime: 2 weeks for bruising, 6 weeks for swelling. You can hide most things with make-up 2 weeks after the procedure.
🥴 Anesthesia: Uppers are almost always done with local numbing medication in the office and a pill “relaxing medication”.
🎤 Interesting Fact: Ptosis in young 20, 30 and 40 year olds is way more common than most people would imagine!

When I started my own practice, my goal was to provide the best possible care in a small, warm and welcoming environment. So, it makes me feel so happy to hear my patients describe their experience as “wonderful and absolutely painless.” This patient slept through the procedure and only needed one Tylenol.

I think it’s great for patients to hear this - because without hearing it directly from patients - who would imagine most people either fall asleep or lay there listening to us sing during their eyelid procedure?

Justina is just 3 months out from her upper lid blepharoplasty and she looks so amazing, I’m so happy for her!
