Q: When should I schedule my child's first dental appointment?

A: While some offices suggest you have your child seen as soon as they have teeth coming into their mouths, we like to recommend waiting until they are around 3 years old, unless there is a specific concern or an emergency. We like to make the experience the least traumatic as possible. At 3 years old, kids typically have all of their primary/baby teeth in, and they are old enough to start understanding what the appointment is for and how important it is to keep their teeth clean. 🦷🪥
