Frequently Asked Question About the OMI PEMF System:
Why aren't the components wireless like the BEMER?

Good question! Each component comes with a control unit and an AC adapter, meaning each one has to be plugged in. The main reason is the power draw.

BEMER products produce an electromagnetic field intensity of 100 microTesla / 1 Gauss maximum. This is a very low power draw that can be powered with small batteries.

OMI products produce an intensity of 220 microTesla / 2.2 Gauss maximum, over double that of BEMER. At some point it becomes more practical to plug in each piece rather than install bulky, heavy batteries.

There are a few ways you can accomplish this.

1. Portable power station with an AC output. Best for professionals as you can bring your power anywhere. More expensive up front.

2. Outdoor extension cord ran from the nearest electrical outlet to your treatment location. Inexpensive and best for personal use or barns where you can count on an outlet being available.

If you have multiple components, you can use extension cords or surge protectors with multiple outlets. It helps to have a longer cord to allow for horsey movement.

Then, I recommend grouping your cables with velcro cable ties for convenience and organization.

I group the two hind boots together, the two front boots together, and the blanket + neck piece together. This helps with setup time and prevents cable tangles.
