We had such a great time meeting with the Seniors of Pompton Lakes group last week at the Carnevale Center to talk about aging in place and how to make it possible by understanding long-term care insurance and veterans’ benefits.

We talked about how confusing these programs can be when families try to manage them on their own, and what a difference it makes to have someone guide the process.

Several people came up after the presentation to schedule policy reviews. It shows that families truly want to understand their options before they’re in crisis.

We had such a great time visiting the Bloomingdale Senior Center last week to talk about a topic that’s close to our hearts - aging in place. We shared some breakfast and also ideas on how to make it easier and safer for seniors to stay in the comfort of their own homes. We then touched on how long term care insurance can help cover some of those needs.

The best part was hearing some of the group's own experiences and answering their thoughtful questions. I’m always grateful for the chance to connect with neighbors, learn from each other, and hopefully make the path a little clearer for families planning ahead.

Thank you to the Bloomingdale Senior Center and especially Pat and the walking group for welcoming Amada Senior Care. We're looking forward to coming back again.
