Age 53: Fasted Workouts are King

​I’m telling you plus I am an example: Fasted workouts are the absolute best for body recomposition.

This is one of the main tools I use to take my stomach from Fat to Flat.

Most people only look at the Caloric Model, which is just the math of calories burned versus calories eaten.

I focus on the Hormonal Model, which prioritizes how your hormones—not just your plate—dictate fat loss and muscle growth.

When you eat, your body releases Insulin, which is your primary fat-storage hormone.

Congratulations to
​Today I want to give a massive congratulations to this woman.

​At 55 years young, she is on a mission to reverse the signs of aging by at least 15 years.

​This weekend, she put that mission into motion.

​This was her first-ever outdoor hike and her first time hitting 4 miles.

​She definitely thought we were hitting a paved trail because she was not dressed for the woods!

​But she crushed it anyway.

​At the beginning of the trail, she thought she would only be able to go halfway.

​But to her surprise, once she got to that midpoint, all the training she has been doing these last few weeks actually kicked in.

​That training allowed her to go much further than she ever thought she could go.

​It was a major boost to her confidence and her willingness to keep crushing it.

​Even though the terrain tested her at times, she still pushed through and finished strong.

​As a matter of fact, we were the only ones in the group to make it all the way down to the waterfall.

​Fitness is more than a gym.

​It is about being active, staying mobile, and having the strength to explore.

​That is exactly what my Hike, Stretch, and Reset Tours are all about.

Pt.2 shift from "doing" to "being."

A trainer tells you what to do in the gym for sixty minutes.

But a coach shows you how to become who you want to be for a lifetime.
The gym is only a small piece of the puzzle.

It comes from a routine that turns into a habit.

When your habits change, the person you are changes too.

Most people get stuck in the cycle of losing ten pounds and gaining twenty.

Pt. 1 "Your body doesn’t believe you yet."😮

Imagine your body is like a house that needs a total makeover.

​Right now, the workers are standing out front with their tools.

​But they are on pause.

​They aren’t sure if this is a real job yet.

​In the past, the work started and then suddenly stopped.

​So the workers are waiting to see if you are serious this time.

​Under the hood, they are doing some very small prep work.

​They are checking the old wires and cleaning up the dust.

​But they won't start the big "overdrive" work until you prove this is real.

​They won't build new walls or move the heavy furniture yet.

​They are waiting for you to stay consistent for more than a few weeks.

​This is why you don’t see big changes on the scale today.

​Your body is just waiting for the green light.

​Once you show your body that you aren't quitting, the real work begins.

​That is when the old walls come down and the new you is built.

​We take it slow in the beginning to make sure your body feels safe.

​This is how we reach the point where your progress becomes permanent.

​Keep showing up every day to convince the crew to get to work.

​This is the last time you will ever have to start over.

If The Weight Found You Again, You Never Lost It!

I see it all the time: someone works incredibly hard for three weeks, drops 5 or 10 pounds, and feels like they’ve won.

But then, a month or two later, that weight is right back on the scale.

The reason that weight "found" you is because you didn't actually solve the problem—you just tried to fix a symptom.

The weight is the symptom; your habits, your relationship with food, and your daily discipline are the root cause.

If you only change what you eat for 21 days but don't change how you think for a lifetime, the weight is just waiting around the corner to move back in.

​Real weight loss isn't about a temporary "fix." It’s about solving the problem at the source so that the old version of you becomes a stranger.

Stop treating the symptom and start solving the problem.
