πΈ Hope in Motion for Metastatic Breast Cancer πΈ
A new study published in Nature Medicine has brought encouraging news for women living with metastatic breast cancer.
The research found that a supervised, individualized exercise program just twice a week led to significant improvements in energy, quality of life, pain, and overall daily function.
Even more inspiring is that these benefits were sustained over time.
For many women facing metastatic disease, fatigue, pain, and loss of strength can be some of the hardest parts of the journey. This study reminds us that the body is still capable of responding, healing, and rebuilding resilience, even in the most advanced stages of breast cancer.
At the North Fork Breast Health Coalition, our mission has always been to offer hope, resources, and compassionate support to every woman navigating this path. Research like this reinforces something we deeply believe:
π Quality of life matters.
π Support matters.
π Movement matters.
π You are never alone
