Applied Behavior Autism Center Empowering families, fostering growth, & independence. ABA therapy applies our understanding of how behavior works to real situations.

We are dedicated to providing high-quality in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related development disabilities. Through ABA therapy, our goal is to increase children’s helpful behaviors and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning. The main focus includes:

Increase language and communication skills. Decrease problem behaviors. Improve attention, focus, social skills, memory, and academics. That is why we create a fun and productive environment to receive intensive treatment while also meeting and interacting with other children

What is an RBT?

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a trained and certified paraprofessional who works directly with individuals—most often children with autism spectrum disorder—to support meaningful behavior change.

Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), RBTs:
🔹 Implement individualized treatment plans
🔹 Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
🔹 Collect data to track progress
🔹 Support clients through evidence-based interventions

Here at ABAC, we’re committed to growing our team and strengthening the quality of care we provide. That’s why we offer training, support, and even cover the cost of two RBT exam attempts to help all our BTs become certified RBTs.

When sessions are missed, progress can slow down — but with a steady routine, your little one keeps building new skills and confidence every day. 💪✨
Here are some easy tips to stay on track:
🗓️ Try to keep a regular schedule
💬 Let your therapist know if you need to reschedule
🔁 Ask about makeup sessions when needed

Research continues to show how impactful ABA therapy can be for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Studies have found ABA to be highly effective in:

✅ Improving communication skills
✅ Strengthening expressive and receptive language
✅ Increasing adaptive and daily living skills
✅ Supporting growth in cognitive and problem-solving abilities

Many ABA programs have demonstrated over an 89% success rate in helping children build meaningful skills that support independence and confidence in everyday life.
