Hi! For those of you just tuning in, I’m Aliya…the heart and soul behind La Bohéme Noir Co. I am a level II Reiki practitioner, mediation and breath-work facilitator, 200 hr CYT and soon to be Thai Massage therapist. I am also a self taught interior designer.

With a passion for holistic healing and design centered around wellbeing…I curate transformative spaces for individuals seeking full body alignment, balance, and growth. Mask + Meditate 6/24 “Honoring the Inner Mother”

With the second installment of Mask & Meditate, and in honor of Aliya’s mother, we wanted to highlight the “Inner Mother”.

- She is there when no one else can be.
- She nourishes and nurtures us when we are feeling down.
- She provides insight and fuels our intuition.
- She tells us when enough is enough.

Aliya will facilitate a group meditation focused on drawing out your inner mother and allowing her to reach her full potential. Emily will provide masks for each attendee to apply and enjoy the benefits while in meditation. Together Emily and Aliya will discuss how to nourish your inner mother with a variety of self care practices.

Please wear comfortable clothes as we will all be seated on the floor. Bring anything you may need to feel comfortable. This can include however is not limited to a yoga mat, bolster, pillow or blanket. A journal and writing utensils are suggested for anything that may come up while in session.

Super stoked to be teaming up with another woman owned business to bring you ‘Mid Week Mindfulness’. Join us for an hour of slow movement, light meditation and healing sound.

Classes will be held every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 6-7pm. The lovely Katie of .tides.apothecary has offered up her beautiful new store front on Water Street in Warren. Arrive early if you’d like to do a little shopping before class. Bring a mat and any props you feel you may need.

Well hello!!! It’s been a bit since I’ve shared. I’ve missed being here so so much and now that life is slowing down a bit, I’ll be sharing more frequently.

Many of you who know me personally, know that in January I unexpectedly purchased a local business with my partner and some friends, completely renovated it and have been working diligently to run and grow that business.

The little cutie in this pic (the truck, not me 😜) is Juanita…named after my beloved mama. She’s one of two vehicles in our fleet over .depot and definitely the favorite. This past summer was spent slinging lemonade at our shop in Warren, from Juanita, at weddings, festivals, farmers markets and more. It has been a lot of hard work yet extremely rewarding work.

Now that the season has slowed down and I have more time on my hands…I’m taking some much deserved time for me. To FINALLY participate in the most amazing 200 hour yoga teacher training, revisit my creative side with my visual journal, take on a new design project and spend time with those I love the most.

With the world being such a dumpster fire, my hope is that you are all doing what you can to ‘protect your peace.’ Til next time…I love you all, I love you each! ✨

To say I’ve taken a hiatus from workshops is an understatement. Thankfully it’s not because life has ‘gotten in the way’…for me, life has been blossoming beautifully.

With leaving one business behind and starting a new one…as well as taking business classes through and I realized I have a lot to say about being a small business owner.

One of my most favorite humans and I are teaming up yet again to bring you a four day workshop discussing various topics surrounding starting and running a small business.

Hi friends! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted any workshops or updates. Besides being meh at social media, there’s a good reason why.

About 3 months ago, an opportunity presented itself for me to work with a community builder and small business owner to open a bar in Riverside. We’ve been working diligently to design and build out this cozy community space. I’m so excited to say that we are nearing the end of the build out and planning to have the doors open by the end of the month.

In my downtime, I’ve been enjoying the summer with friends + my favorite kiddos and packing in as much fun as possible before I have surgery in October. More on that later.

While I may not have any workshops on the horizon (you never know though) I am booking energetic alignment and meditation clients in my space in Cranston. Oh and you should have the amazing human that took this photo take yours too! .taylor
