We're a day away from the big game, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Riverside University Health System - Public Health (RUHS PH) are teaming up to remind drivers: Fans Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk.

🏈 Get ahead of the game and create your plan now.
🚘 If you’re going out to a Super Bowl party and you plan to drink alcohol, make sure you plan for a designated driver to get you home safely at the end of the night.
🍟 If you’re hosting a party, prepare plenty of food and non-alcoholic drink options for your guests, especially for the designated drivers.
🏆 If you’re a designated driver, be the night’s MVP and keep that commitment front and center.
📲 If anyone spots a drunk driver, contact your local law enforcement.

RUHS Public Health has got heart, especially in February!
More than just Valentine’s Day, it’s American Heart Month: for more than 60 years, American Heart Month reminds people to focus on their heart health.

There’s an important reason—heart disease is the #1 cause of death in the US, and in Riverside County as well.

How are you feeling today, Riverside County?

The latest Riverside County data shows an increase in flu, so now is a great reminder:

If you're under the weather, stay home from work or school. Wash your hands. Stay hydrated. Call your healthcare provider to see if you should be tested for influenza or start on antiviral treatment.

And if you are feeling well, it's not too late to get a flu vaccine! Schedule a vaccine with your healthcare provider, local pharmacy, or come by one of our public health vaccine clinics:
