RUHS Public Health is in today, celebrating new bikeway infrastructure near the Diamond Valley Middle School (291 W. Chambers). Bring your kiddos by to get fitted for a free bicycle helmet right now! We will be here until noon. Look for signage.

Today, January 23, is Maternal Health Awareness day!

Our Maternal Child & Adolescent Health/Public Health Nursing branch strives to help the entire community including mothers, fathers, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. We have a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of Public Health Nurses, Program Coordinators, Social Workers, Health Educators and Health Service Assistants dedicated to serving our communities.
We offers support groups for pregnant women, home visiting services supporting the needs of newly pregnant/parenting mothers, fathers and teens. We also offer supportive services for adults and seniors with the goal of helping individuals and families achieve desired health outcomes.
Our services support women in having healthy babies, seek to ensure children grow and develop both socially and emotionally, while also fostering positive parent/child relationships. Our programs support wellness throughout the entire lifespan and there is no cost for any of our services.

Bring the family out for a fun-filled celebration!

The City of Hemet in collaboration with Riverside University Health System - Public Health, invites you to the Hemet Valley Bikeway Celebration, happening on Saturday, January 24, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, at the City of Hemet Public Parking Lot located on the southwest side of State Street, 500 feet south of Chamber Street. ✨

Join in on the celebration as we commemorate the new bikeway facilities completed as part of a larger City of Hemet infrastructure project.

Project Enhancements:

🚲 Bicycle Boxes
🔒 Lockers
⚒️ Repair Stations
🛣️ Rehabilitation
✅ And More!

The event lineup will include community resources, guest speakers, activities, and a ribbon cutting. Plus, FREE bike helmets will be gifted while supplies last!

Don’t forget to bring your bike and helmet for the community bike ride at the end of the event. 🚲
