At Mission Pediatrics, our board-certified pediatricians deliver full-service, family-centered care throughout Riverside County — including 24-hour on-call newborn hospital care. With five themed locations (and more on the way!), we bring accessible, compassionate pediatric healthcare to Riverside, Perris, San Bernardino, and Redlands. Our clinics are located close to the hospitals where our families receive care, including Riverside Community Hospital and Redlands Community Hospital, ensuring seamless coordination and rapid support when your child needs it most. Mission Pediatrics Announces the Mission NEST Program: A New Era of Healing Beyond Medicine

Redlands, CA –August 22, 2025

Mission Pediatrics is proud to announce the launch of the Mission NEST Program (MNP), formerly known as the Enhanced Care Medicine (ECM) Clinic. This transformation reflects our deepened commitment to nurturing children and families with compassion, integrity, and resilience.

The Mission NEST Program – which stands for Nurture, Empower, Support, Trust – symbolizes a safe and restorative place for children and families facing complex emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial challenges. Inspired by our national park motif and our whimsical owl-in-a-tophat mascot, the new logo features baby birds in a nest, embodying both vulnerability and growth under the careful guidance of trusted caregivers.

“Our mission has always been to provide care that extends beyond medicine,” said Dr. Watson. “The NEST Program reflects that healing is not just about treatment, but about rebuilding resilience, restoring hope, and empowering families to thrive.”

The NEST Program is guided by the theme “Resilience and Restoration – Healing Beyond Medicine.” It will serve as a beacon of integrity and collaboration, bringing together physicians, therapists, and families to ensure every child has the opportunity to flourish in a safe and supportive environment.

By renaming and reframing ECM into MNP – Mission NEST Program, Mission Pediatrics continues its tradition of innovation, compassion, and community-centered care.
