Dear friends, it has being a while since I posted something on our page. First we were too busy carrying and fighting for our patients that were affected by COVID-19, and we thought that it was the worst that could happened to us. And then 2/24/22 cameβ¦
As most of you may know, I am a Ukrainian-American doctor, and most of my family lives in Ukraine. My days start and end with the phone calls to our parents and family to make sure everyone is okay and they made it through the day.
The threat of a russian invasion of Ukraine has Ukrainian Americans - especially those who still have family in Ukraine - on edge. It is so hard to understand how is it possible in the 21st century that the lives of so many people are in one person's evil hands.
I am humbled with the outburst of support that Iβve received from my office staff and our patients since the first day of war. People donating money, bringing humanitarian aid and just stopping by to ask me how I feel and bringing cards to me. You are all amazing and I never had a chance to say how grateful I am to have you as my friends and patients and to know that you stand with Ukraine.
Please know that even if my heart is with Ukraine and my family at this time, I am still here for you to care and to deliver the best service I can to make sure you are doing okay. Thank you all so much and Glory to Ukraine! ππ
