We had the opportunity to provide a hot cocoa bar for the team at Upland Rehabilitation & Care Center last week, and it did not disappoint! Thank you for the team for letting us come and serve their staff in this way, we loved getting to connect with you all.

Yvonne recently hosted an S.O.S. event at Discovery Commons Raincross that allowed our community partners to network, connect, and get in the Halloween spirit! Thank you to the staff of Discovery Commons Raincross for helping to put on such a great event.

Our very own Yvonne Razo was out there this past weekend supporting our local . 🏃‍♂️ 🍊 This event has been happening in downtown since 1977 and is primarily a sponsor for the Mission Inn Foundation.

🏡 Did you know that one of the main goals of home care is to keep seniors both safe and independent in their homes? 🏡

It's true! While caregivers are able to provide a variety of non-medical tasks for our wonderful seniors (see the flyer 👀), one of our main priorities is to allow seniors to age in place in their homes as independently as possible. Whether it's assistance with light housekeeping, meal preparation, or personal care, our caregivers help make that goal possible each and every day.

📋🖊 It's National Case Management Week! 🖊📋

Case management in senior care is so important. Case managers ensure that seniors have the right care plan when they get home before they are discharged from medical facilities. They juggle a lot on their plates, and yet they make time to make this happen!

We are grateful to work with so many wonderful case managers in our community to work together to provide seniors with solutions for in home care upon discharge. We are thankful for you and hope you feel appreciated!

🐶🐾 Puppy therapy anyone? 🐾🐶

Our owner, Dave, took his sweet pup, Eden, to bring joy to some of the residents of Summerfield of Redlands . It is shown that dogs have the ability to reduce levels of stress and anxiety in people, as well as improve mood and an overall sense of well-being, and we think this is true! Thank you to the community for allowing us to come and do this.

October is National Pitbull Awareness Month, and we enjoy helping others to understand the wonderful qualities that this breed can offer. Dogs are a great companion, especially for seniors.

💙 Today is National Hospice and Palliative Care Day 💙

While there are many misconceptions about what hospice and palliative care really are, there is one thing that is important to keep in mind. One of the main goals of hospice and palliative care truly is to increase the quality of life for those in the final chapter of their lives, and to do so with dignity, respect, and compassion. Thank you to all who work in this field who have a heart to care for seniors in this way.

Our team works side-by-side with hospice teams to provide for any of the additional care needs a senior may have, such as assistance with light housekeeping, personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.), incontinence care, and more.
