Full Service Optometry clinic, and Optical. Riverton Vision Center has been serving the Riverton, WY area since 1959.

Our office offers three doctors for all your eye care needs. We offer Adult through infant eyecare, co-management of surgical care and referral, and full service optical department. With a combined practice experience of over 50 years, Dr. Brian Ballard OD, Dr. James Hinkle OD, and Dr. Christopher Frazier OD, would like to thank you for your support of our practice.

Anita Nantt is Riverton Vision Centers Staff Spotlight of the week!!😅 For the past 10 years, Anita has been a staple to this office and does amazing, efficient work. While Anita enjoys her job, we enjoyed asking her this weeks questions. Let’s get to it ✅

1.How have you seen the practice grow or change over the years?
-"The practice has offered many opportunities to improve my education and the change over the years has been greatly appreciated and welcoming"

2. What motivates you to keep going on tough days?
-"My smiling coworkers that make me do the irish jig... and singing to my coworkers"

3. What's your best tip for providing great patient care?
"The answer is in the question, you have to care for the patient and treat them like family"

4. What would your villain name be if you were a very low-budget supervillain?
"Loki but since I prefer to be a super hero…I would choose Wonder Woman😊She was one that I looked up to"

Riverton Vision Center is excited to have Jerikah Huelle as our staff Spotlight of the week!! Jerikah is a technician at our office along with her polite, friendly and kind attitude🤗🤗

Let’s see the questions we asked Jerikah this week
1. What is your favorite piece of equipment to use and why?
-“ I’m most confident on the auto refract so probably that one

2. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten??
-“ A waffle with hamburger mushrooms, cheese and strawberry jelly while I was in Hong Kong at Disneyland. It wasn’t bad but it was weird.”

3. What’s the most rewarding part of helping patients?
-“ I like talking to patients and getting to know them and being able to hear their experiences”

4. Sweet or salty?
-“ 100% salty I’m not really a big sweet girl”

While Jerikah may not like sweets, we feel pretty lucky to have such a sweet soul in our office! Give your thanks and congrats to Jerikah!! 🥳🥳

For the past year and a half, Kayli has been a wonderful addition to our team. She is the friendly face you are greeted with as you enter into our building. Let’s get to know her. 🤗

1. What’s your favorite moment you’ve had with a patient?
-“Just sitting and reminiscing with the OG patients”

2. Early bird or night owl
-“Early bird…I wake up at like 4am”

3. What advice would you give patients to make their visit smoother?
-“ I appreciate understanding and listening ears, especially when there are concerns. Being prepared with everything that was said while scheduling is super nice”

4. If you could switch jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be?
-“The opticians because I’ve always liked the vibe over there”

Braylee Brost! Give congratulations to Braylee for being Riverton Vision Centers staff spotlight🥳🥳 Braylee is a creative, humor-filled, and caring member of our team.
We had a fun time asking her these week’s questions, so let’s get to it!

1. What is your favorite way to spend a day off??
-“Sleep in. Then deep clean my house. After that, go to the gym and see my best friend and then go home and bake and relax”

2. What’s one tip you give patient’s about eyecare?
-“Absolutely never EVER Sleep in your contacts. Even if they are approved for overnight wear.”

3. What’s something patients do during testing that secretly makes you laugh?
-“Jump at the air puff…OR when a patient says they don’t know what medication they are on and to just ask their wife…*laughing*” 🤪😅

4. If you had a warning label, what would it say?
-“ Will give unsolicited eye care advice”

You know it and you love it…Our Staff Spotlight of the week!! 🫣🥳 This week we’d like to present Abigail Jennings as our Staff member of the week. Abby is an excellent, thorough, and fast paced member of our office!! We asked Abby some questions and let’s see what she had to say 😅😅

1. What’s one thing patients might not realize about your job?
-“There’s a lot more that goes into us other than us just looking at your eyes. Especially in optical, there’s a lot more background knowledge to get people what they need”

2. What’s something you could give a 10 minute presentation on with zero prep?
-“Uhm like a random topic?…Probably breeds of dogs and their characteristics”

3. If your personality had a visual acuity score, what would it be?
-“I’m a little wacky so I feel like maybe a 10/15…because it’s wacky. I don’t even know if that’s a real number…*laughs*” 😂

4. What’s one thing you’re really competitive about?
-“Depending if it’s a sport or not. But if not, getting my work done faster and more efficiently”

1. If you could instantly master a new skill, what would it be?
-“To learn a new language"

2. What's your favorite season and why?”
-“Fall because it's cold enough where you can wear a hoodie but not cold enough to be aggravated”

3. What's the most satisfying part of your job?
-"Satisfying in the fact that after I work everything is so clear and looks really organized"

4. What do you enjoy about working with this team?
-"I can learn different things because I am traveling around different areas of the office"

5. Favorite book and why?
-"I have like 20 *ugh* Why how could you do this to me? *Laughs* I can't choose, I read too many"
