A 2011 graduate from the Center for Massage and Natural Health located in Asheville, NC. I enjoy contributing massage therapy to an individual’s wellness and treating individuals with chronic pain to facilitate healing. I use integrative massage and bodywork techniques that have brought relief from stress, tension and injury, while providing a healing presence. I apply skills from my training in Deep Tissue, NMT, Thai, Lomi Lomi, Positional Release and Esalen. I incorporate long and short strokes into sessions as well as joint mobilization and stretches. Roanoke Massage Therapy is appointment only (no walk-ins). 1pm - 8:30pm Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri

I had an opportunity to use techniques I learned from the Neck & Jaw class I attended early October. I performed intra-oral work on a client that had TMJD issues for the last 5 years. The ‘practice’ treatment we did gave them dramatic results!

I’m always amazed how this work can bring so much relief.
I will be adding to my list of ‘treatment’ services a 35min ‘Neck,Jaw, TMJD’

New Year, New Beginnings!

Roanoke Massage Therapy is relocating to a larger office beginning January 2023

New address: 3959 Electric Road, Suite 480 Roanoke, Virginia 24018

My new office will be inside the Tanglewood West Building, 4th floor. This building is located on the corner of Electric Road and Starkey Road (beside Waffle House).

The building has two elevators and handicap accessible doors are located in the front side of the building facing Electric Road (route 419). Parking is also available back of the building, from Starkey Road.

The office has two rooms (office & massage space) and will open January 3, 2023. Roanoke Massage Therapy will still operate by appointment only (no walk-ins). I look forward to seeing you in the new space!

Aced my manual lymphatic drainage exam and received my certification! Officially Kelly Martindale, LMT, MMP, MLD-C I'm now officially Manual Lymphatic Drainage- Certified !! This is a Treatment (not massage) for fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, migraine headaches, cellulite - lipedema, post traumatic & post surgery swelling. I'm unable to do Compression fittings, wrapping or wound care.
