Okay, so quick update: I heard Friday from the investigator that all of my stuff has been approved and is now moving to the next step. The next step can take anywhere from a couple of months up to a year. If the Virginia Board of Nursing does reinstate my licensure, I can return to work while still being under investigation. So, I have contacted the deputy executive who is working on my reinstatement that is already pending to try and help expedite the process. When I do return to work, there will have to be some changes, and I will send out emails about all of it once I know more.

It was recently brought to my attention that my Virginia state massage therapy license had unintentionally lapsed. As soon as I became aware of the issue, I took immediate steps to correct it and have already submitted all necessary paperwork for reinstatement. I am now working closely with the Virginia Board of Nursing and the Virginia Department of Health Professions to bring my license back into full active standing.

In accordance with state regulations, I will be temporarily pausing all massage therapy services until my license is officially reinstated. This is a precautionary measure to ensure that I remain in complete compliance with all professional and legal standards. Please rest assured that all health and safety standards will continue to be upheld, and that your well-being remains my highest priority.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or concern this temporary pause may cause, and for any uncertainty or ill thoughts it may create. My intention has always been to provide care with integrity, transparency, and professionalism, and I am truly grateful for your understanding as I work to make this right.

If you currently hold a gift certificate or previously purchased a massage package that is set to expire during this temporary closure, please know that the expiration date will be automatically extended by the full length of time that services are paused. No action is needed on your part — all certificates and packages will remain valid once I reopen.

Please know that I take this situation very seriously and deeply value the trust you have placed in me over the years. I want to assure you that I am doing everything within my power to resolve this matter as quickly and responsibly as possible. My goal is to reopen soon and continue providing the same safe, professional, and personalized care you’ve come to expect.

Once my license is reinstated and I am cleared to reopen, I will contact you immediately to begin scheduling sessions again.
