WE’RE HIRING!

Western Virginia EMS Council is looking for a Senior Field Coordinator to help support and strengthen the EMS system across our region!

Position: Senior Field Coordinator
Salary: $55,000 – $70,000
Location: Roanoke, VA (with frequent regional travel)
Apply by: April 17, 2026
Start Date: Tentatively May 11, 2026

About the Role: This is a dynamic position working directly with EMS agencies, hospitals, and regional partners. You’ll play a key role in: Coordinating EMS programs and continuing education, supporting medication compliance (BOP, DEA, FDA), Leading meetings and collaborating with healthcare/public safety leaders, and assisting with protocol development and system improvement

What We’re Looking For:
Certified Paramedic with at least 5 years of EMS experience
Strong background in EMS education and program coordination
Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule (including some nights/weekends)
Passion for improving EMS systems and supporting providers
