Southwest Virginia Healthcare Coalition A coalition of the willing, dedicated to enhancing regional preparedness and response to disaster.

NSPA is the identified regional healthcare emergency preparedness coordinating organization for the Near Southwest region as established by the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association and Virginia Department of Health. NSPA is one of six regional areas serving the Commonwealth of Virginia. The NSPA region includes the Counties of Alleghany, Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Botetourt, Campbell, Craig, Floyd, Franklin, Giles, Henry, Montgomery,Patrick,Pittsylvania, Pulaski, Roanoke and the Cities of Bedford, Covington, Danville, Lynchburg, Martinsville, Radford, Roanoke and Salem.
