A low-dose CT scan is fast and simple. And it can help catch cancer earlier when it’s easier to treat. If you’re at higher risk based on your age, health history or lifestyle, talk with your doctor today. Get a lung screening today. Breathe easier tomorrow.

Infertility is more common than many people realize, yet it is often experienced in silence. During Infertility Awareness Week, we want to help break that silence with understanding, compassion, and facts.

About 1 in 6 people worldwide will experience infertility at some point in their lives. It can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or lifestyle. Causes may include hormonal imbalances, medical conditions, age-related factors, or may remain unexplained.

If you or someone you love is navigating infertility, you are not alone. Support can come in many forms:
💛 Talking openly with a trusted friend or partner
💛 Connecting with support groups or online communities
💛 Seeking guidance from a trusted healthcare provider

It is also important to remember that infertility is not just physical. It can impact emotional and mental well-being, too. Practicing self-care, setting boundaries, and asking for help are all important steps.

This week and every week, let’s lead with empathy, listen without judgment, and create space for conversations that matter. 💛

Most seasonal allergies can be managed with over-the-counter medications and simple lifestyle changes, but it’s important to see a healthcare provider if your symptoms are worsening or affecting your daily life. A conversation with your doctor can help identify triggers and result in recommended treatments so you can make a plan to enjoy spring without discomfort.

April is Stress Awareness Month, a time to recognize how stress can affect both your mind and body.

While some stress is a normal part of life, ongoing or unmanaged stress can contribute to headaches, trouble sleeping, fatigue, and even long-term health concerns like Heart Disease and High Blood Pressure.

At Conemaugh Health System, we encourage our community to take time this month to check in with themselves and prioritize their well-being. Simple steps like getting enough sleep, staying active, spending time outdoors, and talking with a healthcare provider when stress feels overwhelming can make a meaningful difference.

Your health matters—physically and mentally. Take a moment this month to pause, breathe, and care for yourself. 💙 If you find that your stress is impacting your health, talk with your healthcare provider! Looking for a provider that fits your needs? Visit Conemaugh.org today.

💙💚 Blue & Green Day is almost here! 💙💚

This Friday, our community will come together to recognize Blue & Green Day on April 10 as part of Donate Life Month. This special day is dedicated to raising awareness about the life-saving impact of organ, tissue, and eye donation.

By simply wearing blue and green, you can help honor organ donors, recognize the strength of donor families, and show support for the more than 100,000 people in the United States currently waiting for a life-saving transplant.

We encourage our community, staff, and partners to participate on April 10 and help start conversations about the importance of organ donation and transplant awareness.

Don't forget to share your photos of your blue & green! Together, we can help spread hope and awareness throughout our community.
