🌍 Today is World AIDS Day. HIV is a virus that attacks the immune system and, if untreated, can develop into AIDS. But today, HIV is both preventable and treatable. Testing is one of the most important steps in protecting your health, and treatment can help people living with HIV lead long, healthy lives while preventing transmission to others.

On this day, we honor those affected, support those living with HIV, and continue raising awareness and reducing stigma. Knowledge, compassion, and early care make a difference. ❤️

Take action today and know your HIV status by getting tested. Learn more at Conemaugh.org/hiv-clinic.

Monday, December 1, is World AIDS Day, a day dedicated to remembering the loves lost, supporting those who live with HIV, and continuing the conversations that help break the stigma and save lives. ❤

Since 1988, World AIDS Day is a global reminder of the ongoing impact of HIV and AIDS. Millions of people worldwide are living with HIV, but thanks to medical progress, those diagnosed with HIV can live long, healthy, and fulfilling lives.

HIV is treatable, preventable is possible, and awareness matters. When we talk about it, we help create a world where access to testing, care, and compassion is the standard.
