Whew - everyone loves Lake Waccamaw! Stalls sold out quick like always but we've added a waitlist option to the reservation form, so make sure to get on it! Most of you already know we will do what we can to accommodate! We likely will have some panel stalls available, but my best help is out of commission on the heavy lifting so I am taking job applications 🤣

If you bought too many, can leave a non-entered horse at home, or just have a change of plans - PM us to arrange a sale!

Other options available in case you are a planner -
~ You can set up your own pens, however they must be solid (PVC, portable panels etc). The facility charges us for non-stalled horses but we are waiving ALL FEES!
~ Lumber River Campground is about 20 mins away and has stalls for $10/day and RV hookups for $35/day (429 Tar Landing, Evergreen NC 28438)

At 7 pm tonight all Entries and Reservations will open.

Regular class entries will be taken via Saddlebook and are open now - https://saddlebook.com/events/12435

Big Spender entries will be taken via https://bigspender2026.paperform.co/ - we will manually input these into Saddlebook once all slots are paid and closed. NEW this show - we will take late entries for one day only on February 4th with a $50 per entry late fee.

Stall/RV reservations will be taken via https://bigspendreservations.paperform.co/
Generator use allowed and solid temp pens allowed also.

The 8&U Derby at the Can Jam was also a success with 36 entries running for a one run payout of $3,200!

Clinching the 1D win worth $800 was Tanner Kennedy and Frosty Fly for Cash with a smoking 15.723. Frosty Fly for Cash (Jolene) is a 2020 mare by Mr Frenchman’s Frost out of Dashing First Down (Hooked on Run) and is no strangers to the winners circle, having won the 100x Barrel Race just a few months back. The run also netted the pair another $1,750 in rollovers!

Snagging the 2D win in the Derby was Tanner Shelton and CC FrenchFameNBoujee - another 2020 mare and by Dashing Move Fame out of Shortys Smooth Girl (A Smooth Guy). Their time of 16.268 earned them $320 for the win and another $673 in rollovers!
