A message from Whiz Bang Days

Greetings from the Robbinsdale Whiz Bang Days Committee!

Warm weather and longer days are on the horizon, which can only mean one thing—Whiz Bang Days is almost here! Our committee has been working hard all year to plan and bring back the 78th Annual Whiz Bang Days this summer, and we need your help to make it a success.

Whiz Bang Days has a rich tradition in our community, made possible through the generous support and donations of local Robbinsdale businesses like yours. Classic events such as the parade, Kids Market, and fireworks will return this year, along with exciting activities including Movie in the Park and the Robbinsdale City Band Concert. Our committee, volunteers, local businesses, and vendors take great pride in hosting these events, which bring our community together and provide entertainment for all ages.

Beyond the activities themselves, the continued success of Whiz Bang Days depends on the financial support of our business community. We hope you will consider supporting what we proudly call the best weekend of the summer. We continually refine our sponsorship opportunities to offer meaningful exposure and a direct connection to our celebration's success.

We invite you to review the attached sponsorship sheet and either return it or complete the sponsorship form online through the Whiz Bang Days website by May 15, 2026.

An event application for businesses hosting activities—we encourage you to apply so we can help promote your event through our schedule and website.

A parade application for anyone interested in participating and showcasing their business to the community.

Our keynote speaker will be Steve Buchanan, Technology Leader at Jamf, who will share practical insights on how AI is impacting business today.

Our spotlight speaker will be Dr. Lindsay Daniels of Go Health Chiropractic, sharing insights on wellness and foot health in recognition of Foot Awareness Month.

This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow members, exchange ideas, and stay engaged with what’s happening in our local business community.

More pictures of the fun had by all at the Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce Eggstravaganza on March 28th at city hall! A record crowd turned out to enjoy all that this annual tradition in Robbinsdale has to offer! Thanks again to the many businesses and organizations who donated so generously to make the event possible. Keep an eye out around town for new bikes, new t-shirts, and of course many cuddly stuffed animals!!

It's was an amazing day for the Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce Eggstravaganza!! Over 400 children went home with huge smiles and wonderful prizes! Thanks to all of the volunteers who made the magic happen and for the sponsors who gave so much to fund the fun!!

Keynote Speaker: Heather has been working in city, state and county business and community development for 30 years and has kept up with Twin Cities and nationwide real estate development trends. She has served the city of Robbinsdale as the community
development director for almost 2 years and is pleased with the city’s healthy mix of existing businesses and emerging opportunities to grow the city’s tax base. As luncheon keynote speaker, Heather will share some of those Robbinsdale specific
opportunities and the strategies necessary for city leaders including chamber members, to support ongoing smart growth and prosperity.

Mark your calendar now for the Robbinsdale City Hall Tree Lighting gathering on Tuesday, December 2nd at 6pm. The family fun event takes place on the front steps of Robbinsdale city hall. Stop by to sing carols, enjoy treats and hot apple cider, visit Santa, and see the huge tree in front of City Hall get lit up for winter.

Bring a non-perishable food item or an unopened toy to donate to local organizations! The event is co-sponsored by the City of Robbinsdale and the Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce.

The free, family-friendly event put on by the Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce will once again bring together over 40 area businesses and organizations that will have something for everyone in booths up and down the sidewalks! Don't miss the chance for great door prizes, enjoy local music and dance performances, and meet up with other Robbinsdale residents!!
