Staff Spotlight: Meet Kayellen, a dedicated team member who has been with us for 9 months. My favorite part of the day is seeing the smiles on our residents' faces. An interesting aspect of my background is that my passion for healthcare was ignited at a young age following the loss of a close family member, which motivated me to pursue a career in helping others. I find great fulfillment in working as a memory care caregiver, as it provides me with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others every day. The individuals under my care may struggle with memory loss, but they deserve compassion, understanding, and respect. I take pride in providing them with comfort, reassurance, and a sense of security during moments of confusion or fear. Building connections with them, even if they are short-lived, is truly rewarding.

Resident Spotlight: Meet the Inimitable Miss Deb! Deb has brightened our community's days for almost 5 years. Her dynamic presence ensures there's never a dull moment, as she keeps us engaged and on our toes lol. With a passion for activities that know no bounds, she particularly shines when belting out her favorite tunes - we've yet to find a song she doesn't know, and she's always ready to showcase her vocal talents! Her caring and loving nature has captured our hearts, making her a beloved member of our community. Her thoughtful gestures, like the neck and shoulder massages she generously gives, spread joy and warmth. Fun Fact: Miss Deb's impressive background includes a role in security at the pentagon.

Meet Sierra :
Sierra is one of our amazing members of our evening team!
Sierra has been with us 7months .

We asked her a few questions today and it went as followed:
Why do you love this job? Her response was I love being a memory care caregiver because I get to bring comfort and dignity to people living with Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia. Even if they don’t remember my name, I know they remember how I make them feel — safe, calm, and cared for. That means everything to me. 💜

Personal note about herself : “My passion for memory care is personal. My grandmother lived with alzheimer’s/dementia and walking through that journey with her showed me how important patience, compassion, and dignity are”

What’s your favorite part of the day ? And my favorite part of the day is getting to see my residents safe and happy!
