Dr. Haddad is one of the most recognized dentists in Michigan, partly for his extensive work with TMJ and sleep apnea sufferers. He has never been one to recognize that the word "dentist" means he should limit himself to being a "tooth doctor." Instead, he realized that the body is a complete system with complex interactions that are best understood and treated with a broader perspective.

Migraines. Vertigo. Ringing ears.
Most people never think to check their jaw.

TMJ disorders are often misdiagnosed or missed entirely — and for many patients, the symptoms go far beyond jaw pain.

In this clip from The Deep Six Podcast, Dr. Jeff Haddad breaks down the widespread impact of TMJ issues and how they're often linked to breathing and sleep problems.

If you’re dealing with chronic headaches, facial pain, or unexplained fatigue, it may be time to look deeper.

Most people with sleep apnea have no idea they have it.

30 million Americans have Obstructive Sleep Apnea, but 80% of cases go undiagnosed.
That means millions live with snoring, fatigue, and disrupted sleep without knowing the real cause.

If you or your partner experiences loud snoring or restless nights, don’t ignore the signs. Schedule a consultation at https://www.michigantmjandsleep.com/schedule/!

Even with many hours of sleep, you can still feel exhausted if that sleep is interrupted.

The quality of your sleep matters, and snoring and sleep apnea can prevent you from getting a restful night.

Grinding your teeth at night?
It could be your airway.

Bruxism (clenching and grinding) is often a survival response to a restricted airway during sleep.

In this clip from The Deep Six Podcast, Dr. Jeff Haddad explains how grinding may be your body’s way of keeping you breathing — and how it connects to fatigue, headaches, and even sleep apnea.

If you grind your teeth or wake up with headaches or jaw tension, we recommend a TMJ and airway evaluation.

Why do so many people live with migraines, ear ringing, vertigo, or chronic jaw and neck pain for years without answers?

Most doctors and even most dentists aren’t trained to recognize TMJ disorders. The symptoms go far beyond just jaw clicking or soreness. We’re talking about:

Migraines
Daily headaches
Ear ringing or fullness
Neck pain
Vertigo

At our office, we’ve been treating TMJ disorders for nearly 24 years. We use advanced technology that actually measures facial muscle activity and helps us determine on your very first visit whether TMJ is the root cause.

Dr. Haddad and Rachael were in Chicago this past weekend teaching other doctors the advanced techniques and approaches to treating TMJ patients and patients suffering from sleep apnea. There were doctors from across the country and Canada coming to learn these proven treatments that Dr. Haddad has pioneered. It was a great weekend of teaching and learning so that more people suffering with TMJ and Sleep Disorders can get back to living their lives pain-free.
