Today we celebrate National Doctors Day and the physicians who care for residents across Pomeroy Living with skill, compassion, and steady leadership.

In senior living and skilled nursing, medicine is personal. It is the early morning call about a change in condition. It is the careful review of a complex medication list. It is sitting with a family and explaining next steps in a way that brings clarity instead of fear. The work is clinical, but it is also deeply human.

A BIG "Thank You" to our medical directors and attending physicians: Dr. Fadi Salloum, Dr. Sangita Pradhan, and Dr. Norman Kakos. Thank you for being present, accessible, and accountable. Thank you for partnering with our nursing teams, challenging us to keep raising the bar, and never losing sight of dignity and quality of life.

Our residents loved seeing the group of students from Boulan Park Middle School and playing games with them. They played Generation Gap trivia, painted rocks, and had some fun with balloon volleyball! We love when we can get generations to come together for laughs and creativity!

March 8th through 14th is National Administrators Week, and we want to take a minute to recognize Vince Liaguno who keeps everything moving behind the scenes and out in front when it matters most.

To our Administrator, thank you. You carry the weight of compliance, staffing, budgets, family concerns, state surveys, and a hundred daily curveballs most people never see. You lead teams through long days and even longer nights. You answer the hard questions. You make the tough calls. And you do it all while protecting the dignity and care of the residents who trust us with their lives.

Leadership in senior living is not for the faint of heart. It takes grit, patience, thick skin, and a very steady moral compass. You show up anyway. Every single day.

We see the sacrifices. We see the pressure. And we see the heart behind it all.

Thank you for holding the standard high. Thank you for taking care of our teams so they can take care of our residents. And thank you for leading with accountability and compassion.

To celebrate the 2026 Winter Olympics we had our own mini games! “Cross-Country skiing”-rolling Oreos to land on as many countries on a world map. As well as Mini-Curling which used our hand-eye coordination and focus to get the gold! Congratulations to our Pomeroy Olympians 🏅🏆

Set, hike!!! We loved watching Super Bowl 60! We enjoyed delicious treats and drinks while we cheered on our favorite team. We wish the Lions could have been in the Super Bowl but next year will be our year! Congratulations to the Seahawks and all our football fans 🏈🏉🏈🏟️
