Attention all! We will be having a Holiday Ball for our residents in December and are asking for donations for items residents can wear at the ball! Suits, dress shirts, ties, dresses, and dress shoes/heels. We will be accepting donations until December 12th. Thank you! 🪩

We were very happy to honor our residents who made the ultimate sacrifice and fought for our freedom. Thank you to Corey from Accent Care for providing our ceremony with a beautiful poem, pinning the Veterans, and presenting their certificates! We also enjoyed some delicious cake and shared stories. Thank you to all of the Veterans for your service! God bless America! 🇺🇸

The residents and staff at Pomeroy Living’s Rochester Skilled Rehabilitation threw down for Halloween with multiple special events! From yesterday afternoon’s community Trunk-R-Treat to today’s departmental pumpkin decorating contest and costumes galore, there was nothing left but smiles and more smiles! 👻🎃🧡

Celebrating this month’s Excellence in Action recipient—LaAsia Freeman, LPN. Nurse Freeman was cited for her exceptional customer service and ensuring that all of the residents assigned to her receive the highest quality of care and service. Attention all staff, family, and visitors! Please join us on Thursday October 30th from 4pm-7pm for our Trunk or Treat event! Entry is $1 and will go to our employee Christmas party. Please pass the word around so everyone can come to see our residents and get some yummy candy!!! 🎃🍬👻

Our wonderful Rehab department donated this fall-fabulous raffle basket now on display in our center concourse! Please consider buying some raffle tickets—all proceeds go toward our employee holiday party. $2 per ticket or 3 tickets for $5. Check out all the goodies that are included! 🌻🍁🍂🎟️

We had so much fun at our Pomeroy Carnival! We had games with prizes including goodies from Align Senior Care, balloon animals with The Fun Chick, and adorable animals with Blue Shamrock Farm, LLC! Thank you to everyone for bringing the carnival to our residents. The animals and games brought back fantastic memories while making new ones!

We kick off October by celebrating our newly-named Employee of the Month—Brelynn Andrews of our Activities Department. Here she is receiving an Amazon gift card from our Activities Director, Brandon Birkner.

Yeehaw! We enjoyed watching some darn tootin’ great Cowboy Line dancers. It was so much fun seeing the dance moves and clapping along to good ol’ country music! 🤠

Thank you to Rabbi Menachem for providing us with a presentation on the Jewish New Year including traditions and symbols! Residents loved celebrating and learning about another culture. Happy Rosh Hashanah to all!

We threw a Color Party for our residents where each department was assigned a color and we made different tables filled with drinks and treats according to the assigned color! It was so much fun to see all the color brighten up our residents day. We enjoyed many different desserts with various colors. Thank you to all the staff for dressing in their colors and providing fun treats for our residents!
