Such an incredible and intimate show.

I did the math and realized that I have been listening to this song for 30 years… I’m 42. So for most of my life, I have been listening to this song.

Through all the grit and grunge of the 90’s, I found myself and my place in the world inside of this band. As a teenager, was the soundtrack to my life. So much has changed since then, but every time I listen to these songs, I feel at home. I will love you and your lyrics forever and always. Thank you for being such a continued pillar of light and fire in my life and for the world. 🔥 ✨❤️

Such joy to spend the (freezing cold!) weekend in the company of dancers and friends at the NYSDEA winter conference - teaching, creating, listening, sharing, and reconnecting with the brilliant Alexandra Beller after 10 years! So many old and new faces. So proud to represent SUNY Brockport Dance and bring 12 students to the conference. So grateful for the reminder of just how important it is to keep dancing right now… ❤️

I was compelled to write and share a new blog post on my website: Movement as Resistance. This is the beginnings of something bigger I’d like to write about someday soon.

While it might not seem like much on a grand scale, I actually think that nourishing the body physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually might be one of the most significant acts of political resistance we can all be doing right now. And I know that this is not a new concept— movement as resistance, spiritual practices as resistance, love as resistance. I have heard this said across many different points in time and space. But for me, for now, I needed the reminder, and perhaps you do too.

I have tried to keep my profile (mostly) politics free because I truly do put my heart forward and lead with love for everyone, regardless of another person’s political affiliations. But we are at a breaking point now. Not a single American citizen should be turning the other cheek. Not a single American citizen should be quiet or trying to justify the actions of this regime anymore. This is the time to stand up and speak out if you haven’t yet. Stop giving your money to the billionaires, start calling and emailing your representatives, stand with your communities and protest, donate to local organizations that need help, support the arts, support local business and local farms, vote. It will take all of us to fight back. All of us. May we all be safe, supported, and protected in the days ahead.

Answering a few questions that we keep getting about the upcoming Spirit Organic prenatal yoga teacher training!

1. If you have a scheduling conflict that comes up during a training weekend, you can join via zoom or watch the recording of the weekend. No problem!

2. If you need a payment plan, reach out to Molly! We will work with you and your financial needs.

3. You DO NOT need to be a yoga teacher to take this training! Anyone interested can join and become a Spirit Organic certified prenatal yoga teacher. For the yoga teachers registered with Yoga Alliance, you can become a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT).

📣 Exciting dance announcement for all you local Roc area dancers! Bill Evans Dancers Workshop at Nazareth University, June 22-26, 2026! A five-day workshop in Somatics, Evans Technique, and Repertory (Bill will set part of Craps… some of you know this wild dance in a 7 already…!)
