I had the pleasure of speaking to a group of students at Fairport High School today about my work as a doula, lactation counselor, and placenta specialist. It was such a joy to share my passion with them. I truly love what I do and hope the students found our discussion both enjoyable and enlightening.

Last night, I had the incredible honor of welcoming my eleventh baby of the year into the world! It was a beautiful home birth, allowing both mom and baby to enjoy the serene, comforting environment of their own home. I'm thrilled to share that both are doing wonderfully — healthy, happy, and enjoying the uninterrupted rest they deserve.

Bright and early this morning, I had the joy of welcoming my tenth baby of the year into the world, right in the warmth and comfort of their own home! The beautiful thing about home births is that both mom and baby can snuggle up and drift off to sleep without any interruptions. 🙌🏽 We like to think of that as a win-win! Everyone is happy, healthy, and enjoying the rest they so deserve.

Yesterday, I had the joy of welcoming my ninth baby of the year into the world. As a second-time mom, she was determined to stay at home for as long as possible and experience an unmedicated birth this time. And guess what? SHE NAILED IT! Upon arriving at the hospital, we bypassed triage, and just 30 minutes later, she held her baby in her arms. We were all in awe of her incredible strength. Both mom and baby girl are resting well and doing wonderfully.

I am thrilled to announce that I am now officially a Lactation Counselor, having successfully completed my course and passed the intensive testing! Achieving this milestone during National Breastfeeding Week makes it even more special, as it aligns perfectly with my passion for supporting breastfeeding families. I can't wait to use my new skills to provide guidance and support to parents on their breastfeeding journey. Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way; your encouragement has been invaluable!
