I am so excited to offer lymphatic drainage therapy. My clients have been loving it. I really feel connected with this work and am excited to offer it. It’s a great addition to any massage or energy session. Everyone I have worked on has stated they felt deeply relaxed. It targets the immune system and truly puts you into a rest and digest state. I am selling chocolate to raise money for a cat and dog rescue. The chocolate is $2 a bar. You can pay via Venmo or cash. The flavors are: milk chocolate, almond toffee, mint cookie, caramel, and peanut butter. Bonus: the chocolate company is a local NY company that uses natural and sustainable ingredients. This is the rescue I got my cat Wednesday from. Without their work she’d be a homeless stray and would have probably had at least 4 litters of kittens by now. Instead she gets to be a spoiled Wendy Woo. I am furever grateful for their work. They take in really bad cases and have done miraculous work, never giving up on animals when they show fight.

Meet the Healing Tree. She is infused with reiki and sacred energy. She provides healing and comfort when needed but one must give something in return. All she requires is a small crystal (provided to you). Set an intention or ask for healing, follow whatever is within your heart. I am officially announcing that I have raised my rates, as most of my clients already know. I am now charging $55 for 30 minutes, $90 for 60 minutes and $125 for 90 minutes. I would also like to make the friendly reminder that I have a cancellation policy. If you have to cancel within 24 hours (after you’ve confirmed) there is a 50% cancellation fee. As a small business owner it is crucial that I hold firm with this policy. My regular clients have been very good about cancelling and as always I am so grateful for all of you.

A beautiful client gifted me this necklace. She brought it with her all the way from California. It was her mothers and she had a strong feeling that she needed to pass it along to me. I am so honored and humbled to be the keeper of the Healing Hand. I am so grateful to all of my incredible clients for trusting me to hold sacred space with them. It’s hard and often painful work to step onto a path of healing. I am immensely proud of each of you. I am blessed to be healing with you.

I am excited to announce that I am now offering sound baths. Sound baths go back thousands of years with their ability to induce a deeply relaxed state of being. Sound baths illicit a powerful vibration that has been shown to stimulate certain brain waves that promote relaxation, less anxiety and depression, and an overall sense of well-being. Studies have shown that sound baths can help improve mental clarity, stress, high blood pressure, chronic pain and migraines. My clients have had visceral experiences thus far. Sound does not ask permission, rather it goes where it is needed most as it is both a powerful healer and friend. You can book a sound bath as a standalone service or add it onto any service. I cannot wait to share the power of sound and vibration with all of you!

Thank you for showing your employees appreciation and for allowing me to be apart of it. The month of May was Mental Health Awareness month and I was brought in for three separate events to help all of the well deserving employees relax. I have very exciting news! Nepenthe Massage will be moving to 1100 Goodman St S, Unit 301, Rochester, NY 14620 on July 21st! The new office is located in a beautiful historic building filled with exquisite energy and natural light. I cannot wait to share this space with my clients. The new space is within 5 minutes of Strong Memorial Hospital, where I work in the palliative care unit. This adds convenience and more balance to my schedule. This year has been filled with new beginnings and independence. I am very excited for what is ahead.

Nepenthe Massage will now be offering mediumship services. As my energy clients know, spirit loves to make an entrance during sessions. Now clients will have the option to book a session for just spirit communication and will be able to book a 30, 60 or 90 minute service. I have been receiving messages from spirit since childhood. The more I have embraced my path, the stronger my connection with spirit has grown. I am honored to bring the gift of healing through spirit to those in need. Spirit shows up in amazing ways to provide love and empowerment to their loved ones as it softens the pains of grief. I am honored to announce that I have accepted a massage therapy position, alongside Missy Reho, in the palliative care unit at Strong Memorial Hospital. We will be offering patients a human connection through therapeutic touch and I am so humbled to have this opportunity. Every staff member I have met so far has been exceptionally kind and welcoming. I cannot express my excitement enough. I hold great reverence for the opportunity to hold space with those that require the highest quality of care as they face a very raw part of the human condition. I have felt a call to do this work for a long time, especially after hearing several accounts of patients dying alone during the pandemic. To my very special clients, thank you for your support and trusting me to hold space with you. Do not worry, my private practice will still be in full swing and all of your therapeutic and energy needs will be met. I step into this position with grace and a wide open heart chakra full of love. I take on this position in memory of those I’ve lost, such as my Grandma Nancy, dear friend Jenny, as well as my friends mom Dianna Cook. Missy, I am so happy to work together in this position.
