It’s okay to be sober. The holidays can mean dark times and heavy drinking for some. There’s also an uptick in lives lost to mental illness. If putting down the bottle helps your mental health go for it. Regardless of social pressures to drink or drug your life matters more than fitting in. Recovery is cool. And if you’re thinking about a change this season or new year there are resources available.
