VoiceOver offers FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing), a specialized procedure that’s often only available through large hospital systems with months-long wait times.

At VoiceOver, we offer the same industry-leading evaluation in the comfort of our clinic, with appointments available within two weeks.

That means faster answers, a more personalized experience, and expert care without the wait.

Our purpose is to rehabilitate communication for our patients/clients and to improve their quality of life. It would be absurd for us to be silent about people being deprived of both their freedom of speech and their lives. So even though we try to keep politics out of health care, what has been happening lately requires all of us to make our voices heard. We will not abandon patients tomorrow, but we do hope the Strike has a positive impact and we have chosen to raise our voice in support by
donating $500 to the Legal Aid Society of Rochester for Immigration Services.

WE BELIEVE THAT NO HUMAN BEING CAN BE "ILLEGAL"

This is a part-time position with a clear pathway to full-time for the right clinician.

• You stay current with evidence-based treatment for neurological speech, language, and dysphagia disorders
• You’re comfortable working independently in the community, but value collaboration and feedback
• You genuinely care about quality of life, not just checkboxes and billing units

• Assess, treat, educate, and collaborate with clients, families, and care teams
• Contribute clinical insight and curiosity to a practice that values thinking clinicians

In Parkinson’s disease, dopamine loss in the basal ganglia affects the automatic systems that usually keep speech clear and strong.

SPEAK OUT!® therapy introduces the principle of intent — teaching people to speak with purposeful effort. This bypasses impaired automatic pathways and engages stronger cortical networks. The result? Louder, clearer, and more confident communication.

🗣️ Intent isn’t about shouting — it’s about speaking like you mean it.

May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month! 🗣️🦻🏼👄

It is important to remember that not everyone is able to communicate verbally - there are many other forms of communication, including the use of an AAC device (augmentative and alternative communication).

Feel free to share a quick story about when you helped someone find their voice 😊

Communication connects us all!

You may not know that April is Parkinson's Awareness month 🤔 You also may not know that nearly 90,000 people are diagnosed with Parkinson's each year in the U.S alone.

In our community, our primary caseload is individuals with PD. As speech-language pathologists, we help individuals who experience changes with their voice, cognition, communication, and swallowing.

We are so grateful to continue to provide individualized-approaches to therapy to maximize each client's quality of life and independence.
