Rochester Community Midwives has a special focus on pelvic health during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. Too often clients are left alone without help or techniques to maintain pelvic health during pregnancy, and especially, during postpartum recovery. Rochester Community Midwives is currently partnering with a renowned Women's Health Physical Therapist April Bolding, DPT to give all clients a personalized plan for pelvic health. This Phoenix Heart ARISE Program Midwifery Ally Package includes:
- Pelvic health screening and risk assessment in each trimester
- A 30min complimentary consult with April Bolding, DPT
- An individual postpartum pelvic recovery plan
- Pelvic Floor Self-Assessment guide
- A Pelvic Tour for those who want a hands-on introduction to how pelvic muscles relax, stretch, and release to allow a baby to pass through. This can also be adjusted to fit postpartum learning and healing.
- Handmade heart-shaped heating pack designed to protect tailbone and support the pelvic floor
- ARISE Step by Step audio program for clearing out and healing the body and pelvic bowl
- 2 Audio Modules: Preparing for Childbirth and Recovering from Childbirth
- An online booklet outlining the program
- Seeds of affirmations designed to inspire & heal
- Surprise offerings to enhance the experience of this ritual (including blessed salt and ReBirth-day candle)
