We are pleased to welcome Dr. Dan Savage to our team! Dr. Savage will be helping Dr.MacRae with giving patients incredible vision without glasses or contacts.

Dr. Savage is as Rochester as they come. He grew up in Webster, and completed his medical degree at The University of Rochester, while also completing his residency right here at Flaum.

He is also one of the very few doctors who, in addition to his cornea training, holds a PhD in optics, which he also did at The University of Rochester.

We are so glad to welcome you home, Dr. Savage!

We were so honored by a special guest this week at our office, Doctor Sonia Maheshwari! She came all the way from Mumbai to visit our LASIK Surgery Center! Dr. Maheshwari is owner and Chief Ophthalmologist at Clear Sight Eyecare and Laser Centre in Mumbai. Thank you for visiting and hope to see you back soon!

Dr MacRae is passionate about improving biking and walking infrastructure so families and kids can safely enjoy our streets. He attended the League of American Bicyclist’s Convention, the leading US bike advocacy group. Here Dr MacRae shares a moment with Bill Nesper, the executive director of the League of American Bicyclists prior to riding around Washington DC and then lobbying at the US Capital for better biking and walking infrastructure. They joined over 300 cyclists and were successful at lobbing for 3 key pieces of legislation.

Here comes Santa Claus, Here Comes Santa Claus, and Santa Claus, and Santa Claus. . .About 10 years ago, Dr. MacRae started the Rochester Santa Bicycle Ride, based on a similar event from his Milwaukee, Wisconsin roots. The ride has grown to nearly 100 who dress for the occasion and pedal to City landmarks while collecting charitable donations for the Center for Youth https://www.facebook.com/cfyroc, which supports homeless and troubled children
