Pneuma Yoga

Pneuma Yoga Somatic Yoga and breath retraining to reduce pain, calm your nervous system, and restore strength from the inside out.

Somatic exercises are designed to re-educate chronic muscle tension through small, mindful contractions and releases. By doing this we can reconnect "lost" or "stuck" muscles that may feel tense and sore. With consistent practice we learn to keep our bodies in a relaxed and balanced state, greatly improving stamina, mobility and strength. This not only feels great for our bodies, but it has a profound impact on our nervous system. As we work on resorting function through the spine, shoulders, pelvis and hips we find balance and harmony in our system. We then can progress to restoring functional movement through therapeutic yoga and strength through traditional asana. Essentially moving from a state out of balance and back to center and harmony. Pranayama is a large part of my classes as well. Functional breathing is essential for the practice, we cannot reset our nervous systems if our body is in a state of stress. Slow, low and deep breathing keeps our bodies in a parasympathetic state, where we can rest, digest and heal. We learn to relax and keep the mind in a peaceful state!

Sleep issues.
Migraines.
Anxiety.

Different symptoms — same underlying pattern.
Nervous system overload.

Yoga therapy isn’t random stretching.
It’s structured regulation.

Slow the body.
Steady the breath.
Restore awareness.

That’s how resiliency is built.
Not by eliminating stress —
but by increasing capacity.

I want to offer something in service of our community.

Beginning this Saturday, I’ll be hosting free therapeutic yoga classes every Saturday from 10:00–12:00 focused on nervous system support, deep relaxation, somatics, and breathwork.

These classes are open to everyone.

This is a space to slow down, breathe, and feel supported during a time when many people are under immense stress.

After the practice ~75min, I’ll hold an optional satsang for anyone who would like to stay, sit together, and connect.

There is no cost to attend.

If you feel called to donate, all proceeds will be given directly to support people in our community who are struggling to afford rent and groceries here in Minnesota.

This offering is rooted in care, solidarity, and the belief that we support each other through difficult times—practically and humanly.

I plan to continue holding this space indefinitely, as long as it’s needed.

If you’re able to come, please do.
If you’re able to share, that helps too.

Let's support Minnesota, one of the best states to live in. We will get through this. Love will always win. 🙏❤️

Yoga therapy isn’t about forcing change — it’s about creating the conditions for awareness, relief, and healing.

How we show up for ourselves matters. Learning skills like breath work and somatic exercises change the way stress effects our minds, muscles, joints, emotions and energy.

It's and opportunity to shape yourself in a way that becomes resilient to stress. With practice and time you can change the very chemistry that causes so many problems within.

Simple practices, tremendous effect.

If you are looking for a change this year or are overwhelmed with all the chaos currently, I am more than happy to help share ways of processing stress and moving into a brighter future.

Come check out a class or see me for a private session.

This weeks classes at Pneuma Yoga:

Somatic Yoga & Breathwork — Tonight 1/12 @7:00PM

If you’re feeling burned out, stressed, or overstimulated, tonight’s class is designed to help you slow down and reconnect.

We’ll focus on gentle somatic movement and breathwork to:
• release tension held in the body
• calm the nervous system
• soften mental fatigue
• restore a sense of ease and presence

This is not a workout and not a push — it’s a space to unwind, breathe, and let your system settle after a long day or a long stretch of stress.

Come as you are.
No experience needed.

🕯️ A quiet, grounding class for anyone needing rest and regulation.

Hope to see you tonight.

Genuine Question!

I’m exploring the idea of hosting a small, in-person workshop series on learning Ayurveda and wanted to see if there’s any interest.

I recently purchased and watched the documentary Ayurveda Unveiled. This is a beautifully made film that explores the roots of yoga, Ayurveda, and consciousness in a way that feels grounded, intelligent, and deeply human.

My idea would be to host a 4-part weekend workshop, where we would:
• begin each session with a short, gentle embodying practice
• watch a portion of the documentary together
• then gather for discussion, integration, and Q&A

I’d provide simple handouts so no one has to take notes during the film, and we could focus on really seeing and feeling what’s being shared — then make sense of it together afterward.

This wouldn’t be about memorizing concepts, but about understanding how these teachings relate to the body, breath, nervous system, and daily life.

Before I plan anything, I’m just curious:
👉 Would something like this interest you?

Ayurveda is a profound science that will teach you so much about health and how to transform your wellness routine. Even understanding a small piece will have an incredible impact your life journey.

If so, feel free to comment or message me — no commitment at all, just gathering a sense of curiosity.

Tonight class is about finding our center amongst the chaos around us.

Negativity, hate, and greed seems so ubiquitous that's its become the normal. It isn't. Let's rise above it and reclaim our peace and calm.

Yoga teaches us to nurture our inner environment so that it becomes resilient to the external noise.

Tonight I will teach practices to shake off negative energy, to discover your inner peace, to use your breathing for resiliency, and how to relax when things can't be quiet.

Peace and Love.
