The South Wedge Planning Committee (SWPC) is proud to announce the launch of the Collaborative Accessibility Exchange, a new community-driven initiative to design and test a housing model that helps seniors age in place while opening up larger homes for young families in the South Wedge of Rochester.
Backed by a $20,000 grant from Councilwoman Lashay Harris with the City of Rochester, this pilot will serve as a blueprint for intergenerational housing solutions - and we’re inviting the public to help us shape it.

Leaders from the Rochester Alliance for Senior Care came together with Rochester-area state legislators to say thank you for their ongoing support and to talk about priorities for next year’s NYS budget.

These meaningful conversations reflect our shared commitment to supporting and caring for older adults across our region. Together, we’re working to ensure seniors receive the quality care and respect they deserve - now and into the future.
