Thanks to everyone who stopped by our last Inclusive Gaming event of 2025! We have had such a blast meeting new friends and introducing people to inclusive gaming. We will be taking a short break in January to complete more trainings and buying more games. Please let us know any games you would love to see us have in the future. Fall Prevention Awareness Week
September 22-26

Falls are one of the leading causes of injury among older adults, but they are preventable with the right knowledge and resources! This week is dedicated to raising awareness about fall prevention and empowering communities to take action.

Some ways to reduce the risk of falling include:
• Let’s get physical - Move your body to maintain independence
• Nutrition - Eat a well-balanced diet
• Manage Medications – Talk with your doctor about potential side effects
• Remove hazards – Clear clutter, loose rugs, and install handrails and grab bars as needed.
• Vision & Hearing – Get your vision checked regularly, and update prescriptions as needed.

Let’s all take a moment to educate ourselves, check our environments, and share these important tips with our loved ones. Together we can help prevent injury and create safe, supportive environments for all.
