This Women’s History Month, we proudly recognize some of the women of HCR whose compassion, leadership, and dedication have helped shape who we are today.
Louise Woerner, Founder and Chairwoman of HCR Home Care, was inspired to build this organization after her own family’s caregiving experience revealed how many others were facing the same need. Her vision created a foundation of care that continues to guide us today.
Suzanne Turchetti joined HCR in 2005 and has grown alongside the organization, bringing thoughtful leadership, deep knowledge, and a genuine commitment to people. Her steady presence and collaborative spirit have helped shape the culture that makes HCR feel like home.
Helen Munier, HCR’s first nurse, dedicated 14 years as a nurse and aide supervisor, setting an early standard of compassion, professionalism, and heartfelt care.
Dawn High, a Care Manager at HCR until her passing in 2019, was known for her creativity, fierce dedication for advocating for her clients, and the meaningful connections she built with those she served.
Today, and every day, we honor the women whose compassion, strength, and dedication continue to shape our mission of care.
