Alpha Services Company of Rochester is seeking a full-time Designated Coordinator to oversee one of our group homes in Rochester, MN. The DC ensures that the clients are well taken care of through effective coordination of the activates of the house. The DC supervises the Direct Support Staff. The candidate for this job must be willing to be on call 24/7 in case of emergencies related to the group home(s) they are supervising.
Basic Qualifications:
The Designated Coordinator position requires a Bachelors degree in Health and Human services or related field with a minimum of 2 years experience in the residential care setting or an Associate degree in Health and Human services or related field with a minimum of 5 years experience.
Other Qualifications:
The position requires clear understanding of how to meet the needs of clients in the residential care setting, especially clients with mental illness. The individual must be a self-starter, critical thinker, and have the ability to make quick decisions. This position requires demonstration of strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and organization skills. Computer proficiency is highly required and supervisory experience is preferred but not require for this position. Certifications such as First Aid/CPR, Medication Administration, Crisis Intervention & others are required upon hire and must be kept up-to-date for the duration of employment.
The position requires carrying of an on-call phone for urgent matters. Compensation includes base salary + on-call incentive.
