There is still time to participate in the new community survey. Here is your opportunity to help shape the update to DMC's Development Plan.

https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8469995/DMC-Plan-Update-Capturing-Opportunities-and-Relating-Challenges

Destination Medical Center is inviting Rochester residents, businesses, and stakeholders to share their perspectives on the city’s future by participating in a new community survey. The feedback will help inform the 2025 update to the DMC Development Plan, which serves as a roadmap for Rochester’s growth and investment over the next decade.

The survey is part of an ongoing community engagement process designed to capture opportunities, challenges, and priorities that reflect the voices of those who live, work, and visit in Rochester. Results will guide planning and investment decisions across public spaces, economic development, and community well-being.
The 2025 Plan update will focus on three guiding principles:

Health Innovation as an Economic Engine – fueling ideas, businesses, and careers that improve lives and strengthen our economy.

Health Excellence as an Attractor – leveraging Rochester’s unique position as home to Mayo Clinic to attract and retain visitors, talent, students, and residents.

Health in the Built Environment – investing in infrastructure and public spaces that center well-being and create safe, healthy, sustainable places for all.

Community Co-Design Leadership Training opportunities!

This training is designed for community and governmental leaders across the region who want to build practical skills to recognize when and how co-design can add value, and to understand what best supports these efforts. Participants will gain tools to identify projects suited for co-design, create the conditions for success, and support teams and partners in carrying the work forward.

The training includes two in-person sessions, modeled on the co-design process itself. Between sessions, participants will apply what they learn by exploring opportunities for co-design with colleagues and partners.

Upcoming Session Dates:

1st Session: October 7th 12pm-3pm, or October 9th 9am-12pm

2nd Session: October 21st 1pm-3pm, or October 23rd 10am-12pm
