...and the winner is...! Join us in congratulating Jim Hennelly, our 2018 Celtics Tickets Raffle winner. Jim and his lucky guest will enjoy the Celtics vs Timberwolves on Wednesday January 2, 2019. Great seats, nine rows back from the Celtics bench!

Thank you to all of the Board of Directors, staff and friends of The Gafney Home for selling, buying and most of all, supporting this very successful fundraising effort. Proceeds will go toward funding resident programs within the Home.

What a wonderful time we had at our Annual Resident and Family Holiday Celebration on Saturday December 8th! Huge thank you to Rob and his team for the fantastic spread: the food was top rate! Live entertainment accompanied our dinner and Santa made a special stop to visit one and all! Thank you to all our staff, Board members, Board of Managers and visitors who attended and helped with this undertaking. It truly was a celebration of the Season of Giving and Sharing. Happy Holidays!

Horrifically terrific Trick or Treat on The Town October 26. So many townsfolk came through our haunted mansion. Lots of candy and scares, so much fun!

Just posted our summer event slideshows and there is so much more to say! The summer also brought us new staff. We welcomed to Resident Care Services Kristin, RN our new Director along with Jason and Erica, as well as Trisha and Jessica to Dining Services.

Onward now to Fall. Earlier this month we celebrated National Housekeeping week with a big thank you to Diane our honoree. We are also saying goodbye to Diane this week as she moves into retirement relaxation mode after 8 years of dedicated service. Thank you for everything Diane!

October will bring the Rochester Main Street "Trick or Treat on the Town" event to The Gafney Home on Friday October 26, 4-6pm. Look for our hauntingly decorated Home as residents and staff hand out candy to the kiddies. We welcome individually wrapped donations from how until October 26th!

August 25 was our "Family Hawaiian Luau". Over 70 residents, families, friends, employees and Board of Directors joined the tropical fun. Fantastic themed food by our very own Rob and his Dining Services team, swaying music by Elaine and fun Hawaiian trivia led by Activities Director Cynthia!

Moving through the summer, July 19 brought us to our "Pool Party BBQ", with summer picnic fare, beach games and a touch of Beach Boys music!

Welcome Fall! It's time to wrap up our summer goings on. We had a great season of event as you will see.

On June 21, we ushered in the season with our "Wedding Memories" theme. Wedding reception style refreshments, a beautiful wedding cake made by Dining Services Director Rob and his wife Christine, with our very own married couple to cut the cake! We also celebrated National Nursing Assistants week, a big thank you for all our nursing assistants and resident care team.
