My heart is exploding with joy.

My soul is filled with love.

This weekend, I, along with a team of professional women, hosted our annual Grace & Gratitude Women’s Retreat. We honored, celebrated, and gave grace and thanks to the many versions of ourselves, including the version we have yet to meet. We committed ourselves to truly release outdated beliefs and habits while embracing growth.

The food was delicious. The company was even better.

The safe container created allowed for vulnerability, softening, expansion, community, and awareness.

This sisterhood is heartfelt.

My sweet Goodest Boy, Krumpus, crossed over today. His transition was incredibly peaceful and I’m sure he welcomed it after many years of being a best friend.

This guy showed up on our doorstep as a puppy but was already bigger than the kids and taller than the countertops. He was a sweet addition to a pack, making our household three dogs deep for over a decade.

His older brother and sister passed two years ago now, so he’s been super spoiled as the single dog. His loving cats, chickens, and ducks will miss him just as much as me and my family.

Krumpus came with the name Krampus, after the Christmas goblin that whips naughty children. We quickly changed it to Krumpus to reflect his goofy demeanor and caring heart.

I will forever treasure getting to boop his big nose and giving him bath time.

Fly high, Krumpus…you big, stinky dog.
