Pregnancy and motherhood both place extra demands on the hips, pelvis, and low back, from a growing belly to carrying little ones day after day.
The piriformis muscle (deep in the glutes) often tightens to compensate, which can contribute to hip pain, low back tension, or sciatic-type discomfort.
