Tag Governor Kathy Hochul and share how art therapy has changed your life for the better!

πŸ‘οΈβ€πŸ—¨οΈ Tag Governor Kathy Hochul in the comments! Let her know that families in New York State deserve the right to use their commercial insurance plans to pay for the therapist that works best for their needs! Urge Governor Hochul to sign A3319 today! πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

πŸ‘οΈβ€πŸ—¨οΈ Including the 2,000 plus licensed creative arts therapists on all commercial insurance panels will not be a cost to the state of NY. It will have a direct and immediate impact on the shortage of therapists who can help New Yorkers throughout the state, especially children! πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

πŸ‘οΈβ€πŸ—¨οΈ A huge thank you to Senator Samra Brouk and Assemblymember Harry Bronson for their tireless legislative efforts!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ And big another thank you to 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, District Council 37, AFSCME, and Northern Rivers Family of Services for their continued support!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

We are so excited for these upcoming workshops in January and February. Can you believe 2026 is almost here? Grab your spot! Use code EARLYBIRD for $10 off until December 15th.

January 16th (virtual): This experiential CEU workshop invites mental health professionals to explore archetypes of the shadow, metaphorical monsters, and the symbolism of the unknown. Participants will practice creative interventions, narrative, somatic, and reflective, that help clients face their fears safely and with meaning.

January 26th (in person): Through a blend of psychoeducation, case examples, and applied practice, participants will learn how I-CBT helps clients differentiate between reasonable doubt and obsessional doubt, reconnect with their senses, and break free from time-consuming reassurance and checking cycles.

February 27th (virtual): In this workshop, mental health professionals will explore how humor can enhance rapport, reframe challenges, and foster emotional resilience in both clients and clinicians.

Governor Kathy Hochul
Please sign A3319/S1001 to improve accessibility to mental health care. As a group private practice, we accept several major insurances but not all insurance companies will cover mental health care under Licensed Creative Arts Therapists which is a barrier to finding care. Signing this bill would greatly expand our ability to provide life saving services to clients in a private practice setting. This is an opportunity to show your dedication to the mental health of NYS residents and their families. πŸŽ¨πŸ«ŸπŸ–ŒοΈ

We thank Assemblymember Harry Bronson and Senator Samra Brouk for their dedicated support of LCATS and the work we do. Thank you for your continued advocacy!

➑️ Tag Governor Kathy Hochul in the comments and let her know that her constituents are ready for her to sign Bill A3319/S1001 into law! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

➑️ Bill A3319/S1001 mandates ALL commercial insurance companies cover outpatient psychotherapy provided by licensed creative arts therapists! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

➑️ Bill A3319/S1001 also expands patient choice by increasing the variety and number of reimbursable providers available to treat mental health disorders! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

➑️ A win-win for the Empire State!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

➑️ We thank our bill sponsors Senator Samra Brouk and Assemblymember Harry Bronson for their dedicated leadership and legislative efforts!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ We also thank 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, District Council 37, AFSCME, and Northern Rivers Family of Services for their support and commitment to LCATs!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
