The Foot & Ankle Clinic is a Podiatry Clinic in Rochester MN; our Podiatrist diagnoses and treats any problem concerning the foot or ankle, including surgery. The Foot & Ankle Clinic is seeking a committed Full-Time Medical (Clinical) Assistant. A qualified candidate would perform administrative
and clinical tasks under the direct supervision of our physician, assisting him with medical procedures and patient care. You would be instrumental in helping patients feel at ease during their appointment and often explain the doctor’s instructions. You need to be well organized, friendly, flexible and enjoy working in a small office long term. A strong candidate will have a great attention to detail and ability to
prioritize. You would follow all of the COVID-19 protocols that we have put in place for a safe working environment and clinic for patient care. In-office training is available for this position.

CLINICAL DUTIES
- Assisting Doctors with patient care
- Assist with in-office surgery and xrays
- Cleaning and preparing exam rooms for clinical procedures
- Sterilizing equipment and tools
- Rooming patients by performing intake, verifying medical records, and confirming reason for visit.
- Explain treatment procedures to patients
- Daily room stock check
- Help patients with shoes and socks before and after exam
- Measure patients for diabetic shoes and inserts
- Cast patient’s feet for custom orthotics

REQUIREMENTS:
• Work experience as a Medical Assistant, or a similar role
• Ability to commit to the position for a minimum of 12 months, longer highly desirable
• Friendly, customer service attitude and professional appearance
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Experience at a healthcare facility desired

Starting pay $17.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
Include 40 hrs Paid Time Off
Health insurance not available.
In-office training is available for this position.

CLINIC HOURS: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm

The Foot & Ankle Clinic is seeking a Part-Time Front Office Assistant for their medical practice. The ideal candidate would have experience working in a physician’s office and has some knowledge regarding
health insurance policies. This person would undertake a variety of support staff tasks that require organization and attention to details. Other tasks would include using an electronic medical record, answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, documenting data, accurately updating records, printing office forms and assisting other staff to optimize workflow.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Frequently answer phones, schedule patient appointments, and take messages.
• Support medical staff with office management
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary material
• Printing, scanning, and/or faxing forms
• Accurately updating medical and other records as requested
• Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
• Contribute to team effort by responding efficiently to related needs.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Desire and ability to commit to the position long term
• Work experience as an Office Assistant, or a similar role
• Friendly, customer service attitude and professional appearance
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Experience at a healthcare facility desired

Starting pay: $16.00 PER HR., 38 HOURS PER WEEK

Position would begin as soon as possible or by October 3, 2022.

Position hours: Monday-Thursday from 8AM-5PM (Unpaid lunch from 11:45-12:15.)
Friday from 8AM-12PM Scheduled hours may change from week to week depending on needs.
