Today is International Mastocytosis and Mast Cell Diseases Awareness Day!
Every human being has about a billion Mast cells all over the body- which are balls of chemicals, usually triggered to release their chemicals by allergies. In Mast cell activating syndrome, these cells overreact to even small amounts of exposures to release massive amounts of chemicals that can wreak havoc on multiple systems of the body and cause a variety of symptoms ranging from fatigue, brain fog, headaches, GI upset, fast heart rate, low blood pressure, rashes/hives and much more! Symptoms can also be identical to bad allergies which release the same chemicals! Diagnosing and figuring out triggers is the key to relief!!

Yesterday, Team AAIR proudly joined the Breast Cancer Walk in support of survivors, fighters, and the ongoing fight for a cure. 💖

It was an incredible day filled with energy, hope, and a huge crowd of passionate individuals all walking for a cause that touches so many lives. We’re honored to stand alongside this community and do our part in raising awareness.
