Inward Office Yoga comes right to your workplace and teaches you techniques that recharge you in the middle of the day or give you the physical exercise you need at the end of the day. Our clients are Heart Association and Rochester Business Journal award recipients. We teach the MELT Method which manages pain from carpal tunnel, sciatica, and the low back. At Inward Office, we teach a very simple and body based practice of yoga as the foundation of our services.

Given the sedentary lifestyle of today’s desk worker, we find that these body-based practices are an entry point into embodiment and integrates self-awareness into the day in a tactile manner.

When you look at all of the practices of yoga, they can also include include breathing practices, relaxation practices, sensory clarification practices, acts of nonviolence, acts of compassion, meditation, self awareness or reflection, and the list continues to go on.

Yoga is a deep and unending discovery into the truth of true nature.

It originated from India, which is our founder Marla’s lineage.

our instructors, though come from the western New York areas of Buffalo, New York, Syracuse, New York, and Rochester, New York. We deliver these classes and yoga meditation, mindfulness, myofascial release, and training workshops, to businesses that have corporate wellness programs all over Western New York. We also serve a number of clients virtually from our home studios.

Do you have seasonal allergies? Neti pot has always been my go to solution for both myself and my family. Did you know this valuable tool comes from India? Even though it’s sold at major grocery stores, it began in India as a body cleaning method. I’ve taught my kids as young as three years old to clean out their house. It releases all the toxins that we breathe in throughout the day so that we don’t absorb them into the body, they are caught by the nasal hairs and flushed out using salt water. If you’ve never done Neti pot, feel free to DM to get a video lesson. And no, you don’t need to buy the packets of salt. You can use kosher salt, measured and learn the correct temperature for the water to decrease any pain or discomfort when you flush the nose.

Don’t go a day without challenging your body. Doesn’t have to be hard. Just needs to be consistent. If you don’t plan for it it may not happen. Be clear on your goals and make them happen. Tell your community.
